Randy Butler of Printpack
Randy Butler
Randy started his Career in Printing at a very early age. He worked after school at an Offset litho business running a litho press printing envelopes. After graduation he attended John Tyler Community College in Business. He later transferred to J. Sergeant Reynolds College. He was employed by Phillip Morris USA as Press Supervisor then Department Manager 1977 to 1985. Since then, Randy has worked in this industry with several of the top Flexible Packaging Companies in the U.S. His accomplishments are numerous including building one of the top Rotogravure Engraving Facilities in the U.S. He is currently Marketing Manager for Printpack Corporate Graphics. During his tenure at Printpack he has served on the Board of Directors of the PLGA in 2002 He was elected Vice President in 2003 and Elected President in 2004. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees and is serving as Chairman of the Scholarship and Education Foundation which he started when he was President of the PLGA. During his tenure at the reins of the PLGA the association has doubled in numbers in every category and continues to grow.

Randy is married to Beverly, his wife of 25 years, and has a son Brandon Butler who is a senior attending Columbus North High School. Randy has been featured in many articles throughout his career most recently The Printers Devil in Ink Maker Magazine. A member of the International Who’s Who Historical Society, Randy is also a published writer and poet and has just received the Editors Choice award from the United States Poets Society for his poem entitled “The 22nd Day”. His favorite past times are playing Golf and decretive wood carving of ducks and water fowl. He is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
