JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
5 colors + varnish printed on SBS board. The customer required a package that would convey an image of quality and luxury without the expense and physical limitations of a laminated substrate. The judges commented that at first appearance this package gives a feeling of luxury. The silver and champagne inks produced a visually stimulating carton. The fine type is very good, the hot foil stamping compliments the print well and the cutting and creasing are well executed. |

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
9 colors + varnish printed on International Paper Batstar. Four different packages made up this family of products to produce the results desired by the customer. The package is a unique newly developed three-piece construction. This was considered another colorful set of samples with intricate designs. The shadow areas around the type emphasize the typeface. The colors are soothing and the fine type very good. The cutting and creasing were also good. A nice group of printed cartons. |

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
8 colors printed on matt BOPP and laminated metallized BOPP. The graphic design takes advantage of the matt-metallized areas to give contrast in the design. This structure replaced the use of a carton box. The package gives a pleasing appearance on the matt BOPP with sharp small type and good clean edges on all images. The silver is nice and bright, the use of color adds to the package appeal and the vignette is good. Overall a very nice package presentation.

Blueberry Cheesecake Crunch
JUDGE'S COMMENTS:
6 colors printed on paper and overlaminated with 48ga polypropylene. The illustrations represent the cookies very well and would attract the customer on the shelf. The small type is well executed, as is the reversed out type in all areas. A well produced pack full of class that we could not find much wrong with.

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
8 colors printed on Treophan ZSD 16 printed using 3 whites for required opacity. An innovative bold piece with multiple designs that reflect the Australian Outback. Considering the extensible substrate used this is a good effort with good registration on all images. There is good clear type in gold and the halftone areas are well produced. |
