2008 PLGA Print Quality Awards
Welcome to the Packaging & Label Gravure Association Print Quality Awards Program for products produced during the year 2007.
Thanks to all of you, participation in our “Print Quality Awards” program is growing. This year we had a total of 103 entries, a 27% increase over last year. We also had 17 entries for the International Print Quality Awards, again a significant increase.
Each year, the judging of awards becomes more difficult because of the number and quality of awards submitted in each category. We again used a numerical rating for each entry in a category and a winner was selected based on the composite rating of all judges.
In one instance the judges awarded two winners in a category because of a numerical tie and the quality of work. An “Honorable Mention” was also awarded in several categories where the judges felt that the overall rating of the entry justified such an award.
