Welcome to the Packaging & Label Gravure Association Print Quality Awards Program for products produced during the year 2008.
Thanks to all of you, participation in our “Print Quality Awards” program remains popular with our members. Although the total number of entries was down slightly, we still had a total of 81 entries that included a strong international presence.
Each year, the judging of awards becomes more difficult because of the number and quality of awards submitted in each category. We again used a numerical rating for each entry in a category and a winner was selected based on the composite rating of all judges.
In recognition of the increased participation by our international members, the judges awarded a “Best in Show” for both domestic and international entries. There was also one category with two winners and an “Honorable Mention” was also awarded in several categories where the judges felt that the overall rating of the entry justified such an award.
