ENTRY:
Camel # 9 Menthol Tactile Effect

JUDGE'S COMMENTS:
6 Colors printed on SBS board using Sun Chemical inks on a Bobst press. The package is unique in that the Tactile Effect was created by using micro particle ink and special engraving by SGS. The magenta background contrasts nicely with the deep black and the silver/gold 9. The reversed out type is clear and very legible and the Tactile Effect quite good.

Diet Coke

JUDGE'S COMMENTS:
9 Colors printed on heat transfer paper using solvent based inks on a Bobst Champlain press. An additional special lacquer was developed that allowed for a larger label area, creating a smaller gap between the front and back portions. High brilliance ink makes the Diet Coke brand sparkle.

JUDGE'S COMMENTS:
6 Colors printed on Crystal Clear Film IML using solvent based inks on a Schaivi press. The judges commented that the Snuggle bear lying suspended in the “Crème” of the bottle was unique. The halftones are well produced and the vignettes are smooth. The gold adds depth to the label and the solids are well produced.
