The 2007 Fall Technical Conference addressed several pre-press technical and cost issues and explored image carrier alternatives. Special thanks go to Cylicron for their hospitality and excellent plant tour. We invite your input and constructive criticism in keeping these conferences valuable to our members.
The PLGA has responded to our customers’ demands for the establishment of industry wide specifications for our entire process – from design to delivery. These specifications will be developed over the next 12 to 24 months using input from our membership. Your input will be solicited and is critical in ensuring that the specifications and tolerances are realistic and meet our customers’ expectations. Progress will be reported in newsletters and conferences as this program goes forward.
The 2008 Operational Conference promises to be exciting. Mark your calendar – Wed. February 27 through noon Fri. February 29 (yes it’s leap year). The opening and closing Key Note speakers will bring insight to future trends in our industry:
Opening Topic – Characteristics of the Future Marketplace and Shopper
Closing Topic – General Economic Outlook and Its Impact on the Packaging and Label Industry
You don’t want to miss these presentations so please plan your travel accordingly.
